There is no lobby at Hotel SOMA, and no queue. On the morning of your arrival a digital access code reaches you by text and email. You park, walk to your own front door and let yourself in.
It means a 9 PM flight into DFW is not a problem, and a delayed drive from Houston is not a problem either. Nobody is waiting up for you, because nobody needs to be.
How it works
Three things, and that is all
- Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out at 11:00 AM
- Access code sent by text and email the morning you arrive
- Private exterior entrance, so you never pass through a shared lobby
- Gated courtyard, so the property stays closed to the street
- Free on-site and street parking
- Office open 9 AM to 5 PM daily
- After-hours phone support until midnight
- Early check-in when occupancy allows

The office is staffed 9 AM to 5 PM every day and the phone is answered until midnight. Whether you have a question about your access code, want to adjust the temperature, or would love a dinner recommendation on South Main, call 817-704-1550 and a person picks up.
Staying a while? The private casitas have full kitchens. Want something more unusual? Look at the Airstream suites.
How digital self check-in works
Seamless. Contactless. Local.
With digital self check-in and private exterior entrances, you won't wait in lobby lines or stop at a front desk to get your room key. And if you ever need help, our office team is here to help.
- Check your phone or email. You'll receive your digital check-in instructions and access code on the morning of your arrival date.
- Your access code is your key. Use the access code to enter your room and start your stay right away.
- Arrive when you're ready. Self check-in begins at 4:00 PM on your arrival date. There's no need to stop by a lobby or wait for staff.
Office hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, seven days a week, with after-hours phone support until midnight. Come by the office if you need local tips or help with your access code, but you don't have to.
Check-out
Simple & contactless
We know mornings can be busy, so check-out at Hotel SOMA is just as easy as check-in. Check-out is by 11:00 AM, and there's no front desk stop required. Just close your door and go.
